Don Ashton

At the helm of Municipal Management Solutions is Don Ashton. Don retired in early 2023, after serving as Chief Administrative Officer of El Dorado County since 2016. Don’s 30+ years in public service include positions in county fiscal operations, health and human services, environmental health and board administration, to name just a few. Don’s experience in both large urban areas and small rural communities have given him a deep understanding of the challenges unique to local government. Don possesses the expertise to effectively support municipal leaders as they navigate today’s complex organizational issues and prepare for the future.
